Melissa brings with her great in-depth knowledge of how our industry works and business development expertise. She operates the programs for Advocacy Data’s Political and Advocacy services. She’s a dual citizen, bilingual and well-educated in politics.
Previous to joining Advocacy Data she served as American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC)’s Conference Coordinator & Development Director guiding everyone through the world known as the Pollies for two consecutive years.
Before ending up in the nation’s capital she spent her college years at the University of Karlstad in Sweden studying political science, economics and civil law to then transfer to American University where she finished up her college education with a focus on her great interest for American politics. She tried her best to combine that with her passion for Human Rights and for some unexplainable reason European Union Law.
Melissa is originally from Arizona, but spent a bigger portion of her childhood in northern Sweden. She has never been able to make up her mind about what side of the Atlantic Ocean she prefers. When she’s not working within the political sphere she’s most likely to be found at a sports bar; preferably watching a hockey game.
