He is an award-winning new media entrepreneur and won the American Association of Political Consultants Pollie awards for his work for MoveOn and AFSCME.
His work is widely reported in the national media including:

Previously he founded the Juno Advocacy Network (JAN) in February 1998 and built it into a $5 million business.
In 1998, Mr. Stone practiced law at the Washington, D.C. firm of James & Hoffman where he handled litigation and assisted in the formation a biotech start-up company.
Mr. Stone promoted recommendations of the Panel on Educational Technology of the President’s Advisory Committee on Science and Technology, working with Dr. David E. Shaw.
Between 1986 and 1994, Mr. Stone worked on Capitol Hill and managed many political campaigns.
Mr. Stone received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1983.
People meeting him today might be surprised to know that at age 19 he hitchhiked through Mexico and Guatemala for a month on $260.
